Some Notes on the Phytoplankton off the Southeastern Coast of the United States
Large differences in the plankton flora are found between the Gulf Stream and the coastal water off Jacksonville, and between the Gulf Stream and slope water to the east of Cape Hatteras. A small but distinct difference occurs between the Gulf Stream and Sargasso Sea plankton.
