Distribution and Growth of the Keyhole Limpet Fissurella Barbadensis Gmelin
Abstract:The vertical and horizontal distributions of F. barbadensis on the rocky shores of Barbados are described. Growth rates are obtained and the effects of growth and environmental variation on some of the structural features of the shell are examined. The results are compared with the growth, distribution, and shell variations of temperate climate limpets.
