An Improved Method of Filtration for Chlorophyll Analyses

Abstract:Chlorophyll analyses in which a glass filter was used for the separation of the phytoplankton from sea water were compared with those using a membrane filter. Results from this comparative study showed the glass filter to have several advantages.
