Amphiodia atra (Stimpson) and Ophionema intricata Lutken, Additions to the Shallow Water Amphiurid Brittlestar Fauna of Florida (Echinodermata: Ophiuroidea)
Abstract:Ophionema intricata Lütken and Amphiodia atra (Stimpson) are reported for the first time from Florida waters. Descriptions and illustrations are given, and Amphiodia gyraspis H. L. Clark and A. limbata (Grube) are synonymized with A. atra. A discussion of the genus Amphiodia is included.
