Free Content Notes on a Didymozoid Trematode from the Bahama Islands

An unknown trematode parasite from the gills of a black grouper, Epinephelus mystacinus (Poey), from the Bahama Islands is described and figured. The species is tentatively assigned to the genus Lobatozoum Ishii, with the new specific name bilobatum, and referred to the family Didymozoidae.
