The West London Medical Journal logo University of Buckingham Press logo

It is with great delight that we announce the birth of this new journal which is designed to give doctors in their early years of training a platform to publish articles of interest. We feel that many worthy articles are unfortunately overlooked by medical journals chasing impact factor. We have encouraged junior doctors to publish here by contacting postgraduate centres in the UK. We hope that the journal in due course will have an international reach with submissions from every corner of the globe.

We are also equally keen to encourage medical students to publish work done in relation to their Bachelor of Science projects and other articles of interest.

We are confident that the journal will mature into a major international publication of interest to medical students and doctors in training.

The West London Medical Journal is a quarterly, free, print and open access online journal publishing the best peer reviewed material submitted by postgraduate medical students from the UK. The journal provides a forum to publish for final year medical students, Junior doctors and those at ST1 and ST2 level of training.
