Tobacco Regulatory Science Group
The Tobacco Regulatory Science Group is a new partnership dedicated to fostering the dissemination of research that can inform the process of tobacco regulation. The Editor-in-Chief and the Executive Editor have over a half a century of tobacco control research experienced combined. The Editor-in-Chief has served in senior tobacco control leadership roles in government, testified before the U.S. Congress on Tobacco Harm Reduction, and actively conducted and published research specifically addressing issues in tobacco regulatory science. The Executive Editor has conducted or published research on every medication currently in use to help smokers quit, and has some of the earliest publications on smokeless tobacco. In addition, the Executive Editor has over 25 years of publishing journal experience. Moreover, the Senior Associate Editors are among the leading scientists in conducting and informing tobacco regulatory science. They will provide guidance to the journal leadership to assure that the journal serves as a respected and rapid mechanism for disseminating science that will benefit multiple stakeholders, including other scientists and those involved in tobacco regulation.
