Abstract:
Neighbourhood renewal aims to close the gap between the poorest neighbourhoods and the average ones, so that no one should be disadvantaged by where they live. One of the biggest barriers in the way of this and many of the government's other laudable targets, is the way the benefit system undermines local resident participation in the solutions.Document Type: Review article
