Abstract:

The heat conductivity equation is selected as the base of a physical and mathematical model for welded joint formation. The equation boundary conditions take into account the electron beam characteristic. The weld pool melt surface pressure equation is selected as the second equation of the model, and the boundary conditions are determined for it. The pressure equation solution determines the body shape to solve the heat conductivity equation.
