An educational SAR sea surface waves simulator
This paper describes a Synthetic Aperture Radar sea surface waves simulator, based on the velocity bunching theory and developed in the MatlabĀ® programming language. The software has been designed and implemented for educational use. The present version of this software is run in classes at National Oceanographic Centre of Southampton, UK and at the Universita di Napoli Parthenope, Italy.
