Abstract:
The method used to identify sea surface thermal features for estimating surface currents is presented. Results given have been obtained from investigations made in the Central Adriatic Sea off the coast of Monte Conero in the Marche Region, Italy, using Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) observations of NOAA-14, made simultaneously with the HF coastal radar system installed there.Document Type: Research article
