Abstract:

If plant cell wall biosynthesis often occurs in multi-protein complexes, it can be expected that a transcriptional co-response analysis can aid in identifying novel components. This approach takes advantage of the numerous deposited transcript-profiles generated by microarray experiments. This concept is exemplified with the nucleotide-sugar-conversion pathway, the monolignol pathway and cellulose synthesis.
