PLZT ceramics were prepared to study the dielectric properties as function of the synthesis conditions and microstructural characteristics for three different La contents. Broadened K vs T curves were obtained from the Thermoelectric Analysis as indicative of the cationic disorder with the La content increasing. These results suggest a diffuse phase transition (DPT) that is enhanced with the increasing of frequency with the La content. Besides, its ferroelectric character is studied from polarization measurements to determine the influence of the synthesis conditions and its structural characteristics.
