Low-Temperature Phase Transitions of PbZr0.52Ti0.48O3
In the present work, a great number of experiments of lead zirconate tinate ferroelectric PbZr0.52Ti0.48O3 were performed, such as low-temperature x-ray-diffraction (XRD), electron-diffraction, internal friction and Young's modulus measurements. Both XRD data and electron-diffraction data reveal the existence of super-lattice reflections. Two internal friction (Q−1) peaks are observed near 261 K and 225 K, respectively. The former is ascribed to the first-order tetragonal to monoclinic phase transition. The latter (225 K), with asymmetric line shape accompanied by saltation of Young's modulus, might correspond to the motion of boundaries.
