Abstract:Being one of the members of the global ABB Robotics organization, we exchange information on the latest world trends with other outlets. Day after day, hundreds of engineers work hard to improve applications, to accumulate expertise, and to develop better robots. The information obtained through such exchange is very beneficial for everyone. As we are a foreign company with deep roots in Japan, our multilingual position is contributing significantly to communication about robots which are developed and used in the international arena. We experience no language barrier when talking with Japanese and overseas customers. ASEA Robotics, while maintaining the current man-machine interface, intends to facilitate further the intelligence and functions of robots and to increase the choice for customers whilst matching the applications. We are confident that our interface technology is so complete that those who have taken our instruction will be able to cope on their own when the systems of existing robots are upgraded.
