Simplified Predictive Method of Viscosity of Nanofiber-Dispersed Polymer Suspensions
The viscosity of CNT-dispersed polymer suspensions is predicted based on elastic analogy. The micromechanical Mori–Tanaka approach is applied for the prediction of viscosity, and it is concluded that the elasticity-based model fits well with the experimental data. In addition,
a semi-empirical model for non-Newtonian viscosity of CNT-dispersed polymer suspensions is proposed. The predictions are verified with experimental results.
