Collaborative Partnerships: Academia and Industry Working Together
The purposes of this article are to explore differences between academia and industry, to indicate ways in which technical communication education and industry are changing their practices, and to suggest that partnerships between technical communication programs and practicing professionals are crucial to developing a new, educational environment in which future technical communicators can be educated.
