AIDS in the Workplace: The Role of Bad Science in Formulating Policy
Valda Boyd Ford, M.P.N., B.S.N., R.N., is the President/Co-owner of the Rehabilitation Center at Beeston Hill, Inc., a cardiac and orthopedic rehabilitation center. Ms. Ford has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Winston Salem State University and a Masters in Public Health–Health
Policy Analysis and Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is the immediate past-president of the Virgin Islands State Nurses' Association and has successfully lobbied locally and nationally for health care issues affecting nurses and the general public.
