Testing a “Caring Assessment for Care Givers” Instrument
Based on Kristen Swanson's theory of caring, Caring Assessment for the Care Giver has been traditionally used in preparation for Relationship-Based Care (RBC) implementation; however, its reliability and validity were not known. This article discusses the psychometric testing
of the instrument.
