Recent marine projects have extended the range of applications for GE's LM aeroderivative gas turbines in commercial marine markets. The world's first all gas turbine–powered cruise ship, GTS Millennium, entered service in June 2000. The in-service performance of the combined
gas turbine electric and steam system (COGES) will be discussed further in this paper.
