Teeth of the heterodontiform genus are described from the Lower Kimmeridgian of La Rochelle (SW France). It is the first occurrence of this poorly known genus in the Upper Jurassic. This form is distinguished from the Late Jurassic by its apparently non-durophagous feeding behaviour. It has been found in bioclastic facies and seems to have lived in reefal to peri-reefal shallow marine environments.
