Wind and turbulence measurements of a commercial miniSODAR system are compared to sonic and cup anemometers to verify the usability of SODAR measurements. The correlations of wind speed data from a SODAR and from cup and ultrasonic anemometers are presented together with a turbulence intensity classification and a power curve for a wind turbine.

Wind- und Turbulenzmessungen mit einem kommerziell verfügbaren miniSODAR-System werden mit Messungen von Ultraschall- und Schalenkreuzanemometern verglichen, um die Verwendbarkeit von SODAR-Messungen für diesen Zweck zu verifizieren. Die Korrelationen von Windgeschwindigkeitsmessungen von einem SODAR und von Schalenkreuz- und Ultraschallanemometern werden vorgestellt zusammen mit einer Turbulenzintensitätsklassifikation und einer Leistungskurve für eine Windenergieanlage.
