Abstract:

Graphics are essential for understanding complicated meteorological processes. When the article PARFINIEWICZ (2000) was submitted, only 2D graphics were available to illustrate the stratospheric intrusion. Here 4D visualization was explored to understand the process. Also the domain was elongated above the tropopause to cover essential futures. The produced pictures resemble typical conceptual models as composites of fields which represent movement, pressure and potential temperature fluctuations.
