MACHIAVELLIANISM AND PSYCHOPATHY: AN EAST-WEST NOTE
Abstract:Western theory and research has found a positive relationship between the Machiavellian personality (Mach) and the Primary Psychopath (PP). Joint symptoms include affective poverty, lack of remorse/guilt, and manipulativeness. We explored the Mach-PP relationship in a culture which changed radically after 1990 from socialism to capitalism.
