abstract = "Perception of interactional cues across gender and the consequent impact on degrees of perceived sexual harassment are examined within an evolving American organizational/institutional context. The socialization process is seen to differentiate perspectives influencing contrasting
masculine and feminine perceptual parameters increasing the probability of misperception of interactional cues (to include potentially offensive/harassing behavior) across gender. The effects of allegations of sexual harassment transcend the interpersonal interactions/working relationships
