Measurements of the reflectance for the solar radiation spectrum of natural and synthetic fibers have been made with an integrating sphere. The obtained spectra are shown to relate to the chemical composition of the materials. The influence that moisture and blending of fibers have on the monochromatic, directional, hemispherical reflection factor is shown.
