	abstract = "Gallstone formation is a very common disease throughout the world. There are several types of gallstones; they are bilirubin (calcium-bilirubinate and pure pigment stone), cholesterol, a mixture of bilirubin and cholesterol, and inorganic stone. Identification of the type of gallstone is the prerequisite in the diagnosis of gallbladder and bilary tree malfunction. On the basis of the type of gallstone, a physician can advise a patient as to the necessary diet and other precautions to prevent recurrence of gallstone formation.",
