Abstract:

In recent years, inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) has been applied to a variety of samples including agricultural, biological, environmental, and geochemical. Due to its increased sensitivity and versatility, ICP-AES offers the analytical chemist low detection limits, a linear dynamic range covering several orders of magnitude, relatively few matrix effects, and simultaneous multi-element capability.
