Abstract:
An "open box" spark source is described. It is designed for easy adjustment of inductance and capacitance values while maintaining compact design to minimize radio frequency interference. The design allows monitoring of discharge parameters during operation, and can be assembled with minimal machining. Keywords: Spark source; Instrumentation, emission spectroscopy; Emission Spectroscopy; Spark, AC
