Abstract:

Infrared, Raman and ultraviolet spectroscopic data for –2-oxo-2,3 dihydrobenzimidazol and 23 N-monosubstituted or N,N'-disubstituted derivatives have been correlated. Attributions of the principal infrared and Raman bands and ultraviolet absorptions are given.
