Abstract:

Interferences in the atomic-absorption spectroscopy of cultures and plant materials for Ca and Mg are eliminated by addition of Sr and HClO4. The method described yields good accuracy and precision, and is suitable for routine analysis of large numbers of samples containing widely varying concentrations of unknown and interfering ions.
