Abstract:

Previous studies in this class of compounds have been mainly concerned with the electron-impact measurements of ionization potential (1) and with some mass-spectra of the simple cyclopentadienyls (2). One or two isolated reports of such spectra (3) have been made and the present communication extends the investigation to a wider range of substituted cyclopentadienyl iron compounds. The structure of the compounds studied are given below:
