A technique is presented that allows for the determination of Sn, Pb, Zn, Ni, and Fe in copper base alloys. A spectrochemical solution procedure is described using a rotating disk technique with a 1.5 m Production Control Quantometer. The precision achieved is 0.5-1.5% of amount present for Sn (1.0-11.5%), Pb (0.05-8.0%), Zn (0.10-6.0%), Ni (0.05-1.0%), and 4.7% of amount present for Fe (0.01-0.50%).
