Area Foresters and Virginia Seed Tree Law Effectiveness
An eight-county survey evaluated the effectiveness of the Seed Tree Law in Virginia. The survey revealed that reforestation activities occurred on 79% of the area harvested. The analysis also revealed that because they provided information on reforestation options to landowners, area foresters were key components to the success or failure of the Seed Tree Law.
