Sources of Information on Woodlot Harvesting
Foresters planning timber harvests must consider the principles of logging methods and machines, business practices, and safety in addition to traditional concerns for forest management and silviculture. They should have at hand technical references for applying these timber harvesting principles. Here, I recommend and briefly describe 41 such references. North. J. Appl. For. 3:50-52, September 1984.
