A New Education System for Woodlot Owners
Abstract:In an attempt to teach Maine owners of small woodlots about forest management, a new technique based on a system of rotating teaching units was tried in Penobscot Country. Our personal observations, and reports by participants, seem to show that the technique increases woodlot owners' interest and involvement in management.
