Proposed Metric Units in Forestry
Abstract:In 1980, the Metric Committee of the Society of American Foresters became the Forestry Sector Committee of the American National Metric Council, with responsibility for planning conversion to metric measure in U.S. forestry. The committee hopes to complete a draft plan in 1982, and seeks suggestions from all interested persons or agencies.
