Abstract:

Nationally, private nonindustrial woodland owners control over half of our forested environment, in the East, almost three quarters. For most of these folks the joys of land ownership are many, and they would like to see management promote all of their interests. To help them accomplish this purpose, the concept of high-yield can be broadened into high-satisfaction forestry.
