A year's observations in Europe, including discussions of coarse visual textures in which timber harvests are seldom noticed, management and interpretation to help visitors understand forestry, effective zoning, and a computer-assisted technique for displaying the consequences of alternative land management choices are summarized.Document Type: Journal article
