A Forest Management Sales Notebook--A New Tool for Use in Promoting Forest Management
Abstract:Sales principles long used by insurance and mutual fund salesmen can be used to sell landowners more effectively on forest management. The specific tool is an attractive, well planned notebook of discussion points. Foresters contacting landowners used one notebok to talk from and presented one notebook to landowners to look over during discussions. Use of this approach by on-the-ground foresters is producing encouraging results.
