A Ratchet Wrench and Cleaning Equipment for Increment Borers
Abstract:A ratchet assembly with two hinged handles has been developed for use with small-diameter increment borers. An adapter consisting of a square-holed sleeve and stainless steel wire clip provides the connection between ratchet assembly and borer-bit driving head. A .22-caliber rifle cleaning rod with slightly modified accessories is excellent for maintaining small-diameter increment borers in clean and rustless condition.
