Thinning Even-Aged Loblolly and Slash Pine Stands to Specified Densities
Abstract:Thinning studies require a reliable measure of the densities achieved by the thinning treatments selected. The relationship between average d.b.h. and normal basal area per acre has been used to provide such a measure for experiments at Auburn, Alabama.
