Timber Stand Improvement with NIRA Funds
Besides describing how the NIRA stand improvement work in the Ozark National Forest was organized and carried on, this article is particularly interesting in that it emphasizes the effect on the local residents in respect to their changed attitude toward forest fires and the value of reproduction.
