Notes: Estimation of Juglans Nigra L. Mating System Parameters

Average heterozygosity, fixation index, and outcrossing rate were estimated for Juglans nigra embryos using starch-gel electrophoretic allozyme data collected from 26 open-pollinated families. Parameter values suggested that inbreeding was a relatively minor component of the black walnut mating system for this population. For. Sci. 35(2):623-627.
