Abstract:

The concepts and computational procedures of minimum age-to-age selection efficiency and correlations are introduced to assist the tree breeder in deciding selection age. When observed age-to-age correlations in a field test exceed the required minimum, selection at the current age will yield a higher rate of improvement than selection at an older age. For.
