Multivariate Estimators for Sampling with Partial Replacement on Two Occasions
Abstract:General formulae for sampling with partial replacement (SPR) on two occasions are extended from the univariate to the multivariate case. Problems related to practical application (existence and optimality of SPR estimators) are discussed. The formulae are used to calculate stand tables in a given forest area measured on two occasions.
