Evaluation of boiler integrity at Petrobras/RPBC: costs and savings
The introduction of integrity evaluation and life assessment at Petrobras is reviewed. The initial evaluation of a boiler at the Presidente Bernardes refinery is described, including the costs. It is demonstrated that integrity evaluation of boilers can be very worthwhile from an economic point of view alone.
