abstract = "There is one account in the literature of the application of a solutionfocused approach to individual teaching development at university level (Devlin, 2003). The solutionfocused approach is based on solutionfocused brief therapy (SFBT). The current paper elaborates on the existing account, further outlining and illustrating the techniques that make up the solutionfocused approach to academic development. The central tenets of SFBTbased academic development and the core components of solutionfocused work are articulated. Current research in this area is outlined. Il existe, au sein de la documentation, un exemple de l'approche centr{\’e}e sur la solution appliqu{\’e}e au domaine du d{\’e}veloppement p{\’e}dagogique individuel {\‘a} l'universit{\’e} (Devlin). L'approche centr{\’e}e sur la solution se base sur la notion de solutionfocused brief therapy (SFBT) (th{\’e}rapie br{\‘e}ve orient{\’e}e vers la solution). Le pr{\’e}sent article d{\’e}crit, explique et illustre les techniques qui font partie de l'approche centr{\’e}e sur la solution appliqu{\’e}e au d{\’e}veloppement p{\’e}dagogique. Les principes centraux du d{\’e}veloppement p{\’e}dagogique inspir{\’e} de la SFBT, de m{\^e}me que les {\’e}l{\’e}ments au cur d'une d{\’e}marche centr{\’e}e sur la solution sont d{\’e}crits en d{\’e}tail, ainsi que les recherches actuellement entreprises dans ce domaine.",
