Social work education in Czechoslovakia
Current systems of social work education in Czechoslovakia are described. The curriculum, teaching methods and examination practices of the largest institution, which has trained some 40% of the countries social workers, are examined in detail. Issues confronting Czech social work educators and comparisons with social work education in the UK are identified. Since this paper was written there have been changes in social work education in Czechoslovakia: the authors hope to address these in a subsequent article.
