Abstract:Within this reflective personal narrative, facilitation online is understood as a course of action which enables graduate students, in this case, to work both individually and together to achieve course goals. Herein, the process of reflection is presented as one of the facilitation goals within this online graduate level course that also illuminates the notion of student pre-understanding of reflection. The online facilitation strategies, and means used to support online students develop professionally, while developing reflective skills, employing reflection online and reaching a deeper understanding of the process of refection, is one of many aims of this online course where assistance and guidance, not control, are modelled.
